The Laboratory of High Frequency Circuits (LCAF) in LTCC Technology is focused on the fabrication of high frequency components and particularly on multi-layer modules in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC) technology.

LTCC is a key enabling technology for RF/microwave component miniaturization, millimeter-wave packaging, Multi-Chip-Module (MCM) and System-in-Package (SiP) designs. Furthermore, it is also of great interest in a huge number of applications not strictly related to information and communication technologies as ceramic packaging, highly integrated electronics, microfluidics or sensors.

State-of-the-art equipment is available for providing fabrication services to external customers and supporting research, development and consultancy projects. Our expertise can help you on any of your LTCC needs: from rapid prototyping to samples development or even product technology transference to external foundry services for medium-to-large scale production.

LCAF facilities are located at the Polytechnic City of Innovation, the scientific park of the Universitat Politècnica de València. The lab is a shared initiative between Universitat Politècnica de València, Universitat de València and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in the framework of the VLC/Campus of Excellence.
